The plenary meeting of BEREC and the Independent Regulators Group (IRG) was held last 8-9 December in Berlin.
Standing out among the issues considered are approval of the BEREC working programme for 2017, approval of the BEREC opinion on the Commission’s proposal regarding the European Electronic Communications Code and the election of the BEREC chair for 2018 and vice-chairs for 2017.
At Management Committee level several administrative questions with respect to the functioning of the BEREC Office were considered.
Discussions at IRG level basically focused on administrative questions, especially concerning the budget and accounts.
