BEREC launches public consultation on medium-term strategy 2018-2020

On 8 March 2017 (10 am to 11:30 am), the Body of European Regulators for Electronic Communications (BEREC) held a public session in Brussels to present the results of the 30th plenary meeting, held in Paris on 23 and 24 February 2017.

At this session, BEREC launched a public consultation to gather contributions towards the development of its draft Medium-Term Strategy 2018-2020, which will include general and open-ended questions on relevant developments in the market and questions on how BEREC's activity is viewed.

The responses received will be reflected in the initial draft of the strategy, which will be submitted to further public consultation after BEREC's 31st plenary meeting in June 2017. The final version of the document should be adopted in October 2017.

Participation in the public session was open to all interested parties but subject to prior registration using the registration form available on BEREC’s website.

The session was broadcast online and the public were able to interact in real time through BEREC's Twitter account.
