As part of the preparations for the next World Telecommunication Development Conference (9-20 October 2017, Buenos Aires), the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) has published a report providing an overview of trends and developments in ICT infrastructure, access and use in Europe over the last decade.
The document highlights that one of the key challenges for the future will be to increase fixed-broadband penetration rates and coverage throughout Europe, ensuring equitable, high-speed and high-quality Internet access.
