The European Commission has published the European Digital Progress Report (EDPR), which analyses issues such as connectivity, digital skills, Internet use by citizens and businesses, digital public services, investment in research and development and innovation in information and communication technologies (ICT).
According to the data presented, the European Union is making overall progress; however, there remains great disparity between the digital performance of different countries. The report highlights the need for additional efforts and investments to make the most of the digital single market.
