ANACOM's report ''The Communications Sector 2016'' characterises the electronic communications and postal sector in 2016 and explains its evolution throughout the year.
The publication is divided into ten chapters: overview of electronic communications; coverage of electronic communications networks; residential offers of electronic communications services; the electronic communications consumer; bundled offers; Internet access service (including consumption of over-the-top services); subscription television service; telephone service at a fixed location and nomadic VoIP; mobile telephone service; and postal services.
The report also features statistical information collected directly from providers, through consumer surveys of a sampling nature and also through data compiled by national and international institutions that serve as a reference to development in Portugal.
