ANACOM undertook the "Study on the needs of users in accessing postal establishments and other points of access to the postal network" in partnership with IMR - Instituto de Marketing Research (Institute of Marketing Research).
The purpose of the study is to identify and evaluate the needs of postal users as regards access to postal establishments in Portugal, points of access to the postal network attached to the concession (letterboxes and post-boxes) and minimum offers of service, including minimum opening hours of postal establishments.
The study includes the following objectives:
- conceptual and literature review;
- specification of the needs of residential and business customers, including receptivity to new network configuration solutions;
- impact of user needs on regulation.
