On 5 June 2017, ANACOM approved a draft regulation amending Regulation no. 58/2005 of 18 August (Regulamento da Portabilidade - Portability Regulation), which establishes the principles and rules applicable to portability on public communications networks. The Draft regulation was published today, 28 June, in 2nd Series of Diário da República (Official Journal) no. 123/2017 - Notice no. 7175/2017https://www.anacom.pt/render.jsp?contentId=1413028.
It was decided to submit the draft amending regulation to public consultation, in accordance with Article 10 of ANACOM’s Statutes, Articles 98 et seq. of the Código do Procedimento Administrativo (Administrative Proceeding Code) and articles 54 and 125 of Lei das Comunicações Eletrónicas (Electronic Communications Law - Law no. 5/2004 of 10 February, in its current version).
Interested parties are given a period of 30 working days to comment (comments in writing and in Portuguese). Comments should therefore be sent no later than 9 August 2017, by email to regulamento.portabilidade@anacom.ptmailto:regulamento.portabilidade@anacom.pt1.
Once the consultation process has been concluded, the contributions received will be made public. Therefore, for the purposes of publication on this website, interested parties should also submit a non-confidential version of their responses excluding items considered confidential.
