A course on "Fiber optic splicing and installation" is being organised by the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) in collaboration with ISQ - Instituto de Soldadura e Qualidade (Institute of Welding and Quality). The course will be held from 18 to 20 October 2017 in Lisbon as part of the ''e-Waste Conformance and Interoperability'' programme under the auspices of the ITU Centres of Excellence for Europe.
The course, which will be given in English, is intended for telecommunication technicians who wish to develop their knowledge in the field of optical fibre.
Applications can be made online until 4 October 2017 at ITU Academy.
