By decision of 20 July 2017, and following the performance of auditing, ANACOM approved a draft decision on the inventories of the real estate and property assets attached to the CTT - Correios de Portugal (CTT) concession for the years 2014 and 2015.
Approval was also given to a set of determinations to be implemented by CTT in the preparation of future inventories (inclusive), as well as the following recommendations:
- greater application, in the inventory of assets, of the criterion of the use given to each asset;
- the implementation of recommendations for improvement suggested by the auditors as regards processes and procedures and computer systems.
It was also decided to submit this draft decision to the prior hearing of CTT under the terms of the Código do Procedimento Administrativo (Administrative Proceeding Code) and the Bases of the Universal Postal Service Concession. CTT was given a period of twenty working days to respond, in writing and in Portuguese.
