The 2020 ICT Strategy and Action Plan were approved by Resolution of the Council of Ministers no. 108/2017 of 26 July.
The 2020 ICT Strategy was developed by CTIC - Conselho para as Tecnologias de Informação e Comunicação na Administração Pública (Council for Information and Communication Technologies in Public Administration) and is based on three specific axes - integration and interoperability; Innovation and competitiveness; and resource sharing - incorporating twelve concrete measures.
The goal is to provide the public administration with an overall strategy that promotes better management of ICT as a basis for administrative simplification, providing citizens with improved quality of life and providing companies with a more efficient State in the provision of their services.
