The August 2017 issue of the Spectru monthly bulletin reports that the Council of Ministers approved at its 10 August meeting the appointment of João Cadete de Matos to the position of chair of the ANACOM Board of Directors. The decision on the adoption of corrective measures affecting the operators MEO, NOWO and Vodafone also reported and the draft decision ordering MEO to immediately cease its campaign to contract for an additional 2GB of Internet.
Other highlights include disclosure of the table showing home customers of high-speed networks and services and the rejection of the request by Vectone Mobile to authorise application of a surcharge on roaming services.
