It is hereby announced that, following the procedure to review Regulation 829/2016 of 23 August on pre-contractual and contractual information in the context of electronic communications, the Board of Directors of Autoridade Nacional de Comunicações (ANACOM), by determination of 20 February 2017 and under the terms of paragraph 1 of article 89 and paragraph 1 of article 142, both of the Código do Procedimento Administrativo (Administrative Proceeding Code), has determined to temporarily suspend the effects of the above mentioned Regulation no. 829/2016, as published in Diário da República (Official Journal), 2nd series, no. 161, of 23 August 2016, and object of Statement of Rectification no. 878/2016, of 1 of September, published in the 2nd series of Diário da República no. 168 of 1 September, due for implementation on 22 February 2017.
This suspension decision:
Takes effect from 23 February 2017 until the entry into force of the amendment to Regulation 829/2016 of 23 August;
Affects all provisions of Regulation 829/2016 and annexes thereto, with the exception of paragraph 6 of Article 14, which remains in application until the amendment to this Regulation enters into force.
