The National Meeting of Consumer Dispute Arbitration Centres was held on 31 October 2017 at Museu de Leiria. It was organised by Direção-Geral do Consumidor (Directorate General for the Consumer) with the participation of Paulo Alexandre Ferreira, Assistant Secretary of State and for Trade, João Cadete de Matos, ANACOM Chair, Orlando Borges, Chair of ERSAR - Entidade Reguladora dos Serviços de Águas e Resíduos (Portuguese Water and Waste Services Regulation Authority) and Maria Cristina Portugal de Andrade, Chair of ERSE - Entidade Reguladora dos Serviços Energéticos (Energy Services Regulatory Authority).
The issues discussed included institutional cooperation between regulators and arbitration centres and the new General Regulation on Data Protection.
