Addenda to the ITED Manual (3rd edition) - adaptation to the Regulation of Construction Products - enshrine the requirement set out in EU Regulation no. 305/2011 http://eur-lex.europa.eu/legal-content/EN/TXT/?uri=CELEX%3A32011R0305 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 9 March 2011 – regulation which lays down conditions for the marketing of construction products, including telecommunications cables.
These addenda, approved by ANACOM's decision of 26 October 2017 and coming into force on 1 January 2018, define the minimum classes of fire reaction in cables for the different types of buildings established by EU Delegated Regulation 2016/364 http://eur-lex.europa.eu/legal-content/EN/TXT/?uri=CELEX%3A32016R0364 of the Commission of 1 July 2015, supplementing the Construction Products Regulation.
