By final decision of 14 December 2017, ANACOM has approved the Regulation on the registration of undertakings offering electronic communications networks and services.
This Regulation regulates the duties of notification as regards identification, contact details and the commencement, modification and discontinuation of the activity of undertakings providing electronic communications networks and services, as well as procedures for maintaining the respective register. It sets out to:
- update, simplify and modernise procedures;
- consolidate the transparency of information on market agents.
The Regulation which is now approved enters into force 30 days following its publication in Diário da República (Official Journal), except in the case of the provisions on the extract of the registration entry - these only enter into force upon approval of the respective model.
