The ECC’s WG NaN met last 21-23 November in Bucharest at the invitation of the Romanian regulator (National Authority for Management and Regulation in Communications (ANCOM).
The following documents were notably approved:
- ECC Decision (17)EE – Harmonised prefixes and short codes in national numbering plans – Approval of the final decision, which will be submitted at the next ECC plenary meeting for final adoption and publication;
- ECC Recommendation (17)04 – Numbering for eCall – Approved for final adoption, after the respective public consultation.
Also approved were the reports indicated below, which underwent pre-consultation during the month of December, after which the public consultation period begins (ending on 14.02.2018):
- Draft ECC Report – Numbering for Over-The-Top Services;
- Draft ECC Report – The Role of E.164 Numbers in International Fraud.
