On 5 January 2018, ANACOM approved the final decision on IP interconnection.
The respective draft decision had been approved on 16 November 2017 for notification to the European Commission (EC), the Body of European Regulators for Electronic Communications (BEREC) and the national regulatory authorities of the other Member States of the European Union; this followed submission of the draft decision to a national public consultation procedure and prior hearing of interested parties, by decision of 4 August 2017. The Commission stated that it had no comments.
