WiFi4EU - clarification session


ANACOM will host a clarification session on 22 February 2018 on the WiFi4EU initiativehttps://www.anacom.pt/render.jsp?categoryId=393159. The session takes place at 3:00 p.m., at Fundação Portuguesa das Comunicações (Portuguese Communications Foundation), Lisbon.

WiFi4EU is a European Commission programme approved by Regulation (EU) 2017/1953 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 25 Octoberhttps://www.anacom.pt/render.jsp?contentId=1421400, which aims to promote Internet connectivity in local communities by providing financial support from the Union under the Connecting Europe Facility (CEF).

Participation is free and open to all interested parties, but subject to prior registration - registration no later than 31 January by filling in the respective electronic form available on this websitehttps://www.anacom.pt/render.jsp?categoryId=393280.

In addition to this clarification session, which will be open to the public, three sessions will be held from 1 to 2 February, addressing municipal councils as recipients in the first phase of this initiative.

These sessions, co-organised by ANACOM and ANMP - Associação Nacional de Municípios Portugueses (National Association of Portuguese Municipalities), will take place in Guimarães (1 February, at Auditório da Fraterna, 9:30 a.m.), Coimbra (1 February, auditorium at ANMP, 3:00 p.m.) and Évora (2 February, Salão Nobre, Municipal Council, 9:30 a.m.). Sessions will be streamed online, so that remote participants can put questions (in writing). Information on access and on how to submit questions will be announced nearer the time on the ANMP website.
