2002/2018 – Portuguese Securities Market Commission (CMVM). Coordinator of the Prevention and Combating Money Laundering and Terrorism Financing Unit (2015/2017). Coordinator of the Investor Support Centre (2012/2015). She represented the CMVM in several national and international forums (i.e., between 2015 and 2017 at the National Coordination Commission for Policies to Prevent and Combat Money Laundering and Terrorism Financing and the Financial Action Task Force - GAFI/Financial Action Task Force - FATF).

2005/2009 – Assistant to the Deputy Secretary of State for Local Administration in the 17th Constitutional Government (involved in several legislative reform projects for the simplification of the public administration and procedures, with particular emphasis on her participation in the drafting of the New Urban Lease Scheme of 2006).

2000/2002 - Adviser to the Deputy Secretary of State for the Ministry of Justice in the 14th Constitutional Government (worked on several legislative reform projects, especially the Reform of Executive Action, and the drafting of legislation related to various measures to combat delay in civil and criminal procedure).

1996/2000 - Lawyer (requested the suspension of her registration in April 2000 to take up duties as adviser to a member of the government).
