The EMERG Contact Network held a meeting last 20-21 February in Sarajevo, chaired by the Egyptian sector regulator (NTRA - National Telecom Regulatory Authority). Besides presenting a summary of activities in 2017, the meeting served to prepare the proposed working plan for 2018 and the respective identification of working groups. The group’s sustainability was debated and there was also occasion to present the proposal from members for the permanent secretariat and the chair for 2019, matters which will be approved at the next plenary meeting, to be held on 20 March 2018 in Cairo.
