By determination of 23 march 2018, ANACOM considered that the pricing proposal of services that integrate the universal service, submitted by CTT - Correios de Portugal (CTT), by letter of 15 February 2018, complies with applicable pricing principles and criteria, defined by ANACOM by decision of 21 November 2014https://www.anacom.pt/render.jsp?contentId=1341155.
New tariffs, which will take effect on 2 April 2018, include the following features:
- average annual price increase by 4.5% for items of correspondence, parcels, books, newspapers, periodicals and editorial mail;
- average annual price decrease by -0.5% for reserved services (legal summons and notifications service).
ANACOM further required CTT to disclose and publish new prices, including discounts and conditions for application, at least five working days ahead of their date of entry into force.
