A meeting between the Chairman of the Board of Directors of ANACOM, João Cadete de Matos, and the CEO of Vodafone, Mário Vaz, took place on 3 April 2018 in ANACOM's offices in Lisbon. This meeting addressed issues related to the development of the telecommunications sector in Portugal, involving in particular submarine cables linking the mainland to the Autonomous Regions of the Azores and Madeira, infrastructure sharing, and consumer relations.
