Approval of allocation to the Cruz Vermelha Portuguesa - CVP (Portuguese Red Cross) of the right of use of short number 1415
By decision of 10 May 2018, ANACOM, in accordance with the provisions of its statuteshttps://www.anacom.pt/render.jsp?contentId=1351851 and pursuant to Articles 17 and 36 of the Electronic Communications Lawhttps://www.anacom.pt/render.jsp?contentId=1366216 (ECL), in its current version, approved the allocation to the Portuguese Red Cross (CVP) of the rights of use of the number 1415.
The CVP was subject to compliance with the conditions set forth in Article 37 of the ECL, specifically: (i) the use of this unique number to access the national line of CVP, providing telephone contact with the operating room of the central coordination of its emergency services, which ensures, inter alia, the protection of people living in areas at risk in the event of forest fires; (ii) respecting the principles and criteria for the management and allocation of numbering resources approved by ANACOM on 2 June 2009, the effective and efficient use of the number, and others that may be determined by ANACOM in implementation of the ECL.
In view of the urgency of the request and the fact that the allocation of the number in question is entirely beneficial to the applicant, to respond to the request of this Authority, the prior hearing of the interested parties was waived under and in accordance with Article 124 of the Código do Procedimento Administrativo https://dre.pt/home/-/dre/66041468/details/maximized?p_auth=a0a2asGQ (Code of Administrative Procedure - CPA).
