On 6 June 2018, the Chairman of the Board of ANACOM, João Cadete de Matos, participated in a parliamentary hearing organized by the Economy, Innovation and Public Works Committee, to present the Activity Plan for 2018 and the schedule for its development.
This hearing also raised the issue of replacing the telephone lines destroyed during the October 2017 fires, following a petition submitted by the parliamentary group of the Portuguese Communist Party (PCP).
