By decision of 12 July 2018, ANACOM has approved the criteria for the formulation of universal postal service pricing by CTT - Correios de Portugal (CTT), to be in effect for the three-year period from 2018 to 2020, except for the methodology to be used to forecast traffic of non-reserved services over the same three-year period, which is subject to the prior hearing of CTT and consumer organisations and subject to public consultation. For both procedures, interested parties are given a period of 20 working days to comment (comments in writing and in Portuguese).
As such, comments in response to the public consultation (in writing and in Portuguese) must be received no later than 16 August 2018.
Approval was also given to the report on the prior hearing and public consultation, procedures to which the draft decision was submitted (draft decisionhttps://www.anacom.pt/render.jsp?contentId=1427215 approved on 11 January 2018). In response to these procedures, contributions were received from the following undertakings and users: API - Associação Portuguesa de Imprensa (Portuguese Press Association), DECO - Associação Portuguesa para a Defesa do Consumidor (Portuguese Consumer Protection Association), CTT - Correios de Portugal, Ribeiro dos Santos and Marcos Martins.
