ANACOM suspends execution of the decision on the dispute between MEO and Vodafone regarding non-compliance with procedures for the installation of customer drops under the RPAO


On 7 September 2018, ANACOM decided to grant the request submitted by Vodafone Portugal - Comunicações Pessoais (Vodafone) on 31 August 2018 and ordered the suspension of the execution of its decision of 2 August 2018https://www.anacom.pt/render.jsp?contentId=1458596, concerning the administrative resolution of disputes between MEO - Serviços de Comunicações e Multimédia (MEO) and Vodafone concerning non-compliance with procedures for the installation of customer drops  (RPAO) - until the complaint filed by Vodafone against the aforementioned decision of 2 August is decided.

In the complaint in question, dated 27 August 2018, Vodafone requests the withdrawal or annulment of ANACOM's decision of 2 August, as well as a statement that Vodafone is not obliged (i) to inform MEO prior to the installation of customer drops, (ii) to deliver the register of cables and equipment to MEO, and (iii) to pay MEO the amount of 1.25 euros per each drop installed.
