Under the terms of paragraph 3 of article 14 of Law no. 17/2012 of 26 April (as amended by Decree-Law no. 160/2013 of 19 November and by Law no. 16/2014 of 4 April) ANACOM is responsible for establishing criteria, in force for a minimum period of three years, applicable to the pricing of postal services which comprise the universal postal service.
By determination of 12 July 2018, complemented by determination of 5 November 2018, ANACOM established the pricing criteria for the universal postal services provided by CTT - Correios de Portugal, S.A. (CTT), as provider of the postal service, to apply in the 2018-2020 period.
In this context, it is announced that, pursuant to the provisions of article 184 et seq. of Código do Procedimento Administrativo (Administrative Proceeding Code), CTT submitted a complaint to ANACOM regarding its determination establishing the criteria governing the pricing of universal postal services. This complaint, as well as the above determinations of ANACOM, are available on ANACOM's website www.anacom.pthttps://www.anacom.pt/render.jsp?categoryId=2958.
Accordingly, interested parties are hereby informed that, within 15 working days, they may, as they see fit, state their positions as regards CTT's request and its reasoning under the terms of paragraph 1 of article 192 of Código do Procedimento Administrativo (Administrative Proceeding Code), sending their comments to reclamacao-CTT-precos@anacom.ptmailto:reclamacao-ctt-precos@anacom.pt. Where comments include data that is confidential, a non-confidential version of these comments should also be sent by email excluding this information.
