Identification of undertakings required to contribute to the electronic communications universal service compensation fund and determination of the amount of contributions for 2017

By decision of 17 January 2019, ANACOM has approved a final decision identifying the undertakings required to contribute to the electronic communications universal service compensation fund and setting the value of the contributions relating to the net costs of universal service (NCUS) due for compensation in respect of 2017.

Approval was also given to the report of the prior hearing to which the respective draft decision  was submitted (Draft decision of 6 December 2018https://www.anacom.pt/render.jsp?contentId=1465157). In response to this hearing, timely contributions were received from the following undertakings:  Belgacom International Carrier Services (Portugal), DIDWW Ireland Limited, Greenmill, Nacacomunik – Serviços de Telecomunicações, Narrownet, NOS Comunicações, NOS Madeira Comunicações, NOS Açores Comunicações and Vodafone Portugal – Comunicações Pessoais.
