ANACOM is developing joint actions with the parishes and the municipality of Terras de Bouro, with the aim of conducting a survey of local sites and dwellings with and without difficulties in digital terrestrial television (DTT) reception.
ANACOM's team consists of 6 technicians, who use mobile stations to measure the type of television signal distribution which, at a given site/dwelling is able to function without problems.
Cooperation with local parishes has proved fundamental, since local knowledge and proximity to the population facilitates the collection of the information that is required, including number of people, household size and contact data (telephone and/or email), as well as information on DTT coverage.
This work is expected to continue over the next few weeks.
