On 31 January 2019, ANACOM approved a draft decision on the cost of capital rate of MEO - Serviços de Comunicações e Multimédia (MEO), applicable to financial year 2018.
In the context of the 2018 results of MEO's Sistema de Contabilidade Analítica (Analytical Accounting System), ANACOM considers that the capital cost rate applicable to financial year 2018 should be of 8.0660%.
It was decided to submit this draft decision to a prior hearing of interested parties and to the general consultation procedure, granting interested parties a period of 20 working days under both procedures in which to comment. As such, responses should be received no later than 6 March 2019 - comments in writing and in Portuguese should be sent to consulta.ccapital.meo@anacom.ptmailto:consulta.ccapital.meo@anacom.pt1.
