Authorisation granting NOS a waiver from contribution to the electronic communications Universal Service Compensation Fund in relation to CLSU 2017

By decision of 8 February 2019, ANACOM has granted NOS Comunicações a waiver from the requirement to remit the value of its contribution to the Universal Service Compensation Fund in respect of the Net Costs Of Universal Service (CLSU - custos líquidos do serviço universal) for 2017; this authorisation was granted to the company because the value of its required contribution is exceeded by the amount of compensation that the company is entitled to as provider of the universal service of connection at a fixed location to the public telephone network and of the publicly available telephone service.
