The Chairman of ANACOM, João Cadete de Matos, hosted a visit from the Chairman of the Multisectoral Regulatory Agency for the Economy of Cabo Verde (ARME), Isaías Barreto da Rosa, on 28 February 2019.

The meeting, which took place at ANACOM's office in Lisbon, was agreed between the two regulators following conclusion of a cooperation protocol on 11 January, in the City of Praia in Cabo Verde. This coincided with the launch of cooperation projects in the fields of information systems for infrastructure suitable for carrying electronic communications networks and the development of ITED and ITUR solutions in Cabo Verde.
The meeting was preceded by a working lunch which was attended by the Chairman of AMT - Autoridade da Mobilidade e dos Transportes (Mobility and Transport Authority), João Carvalho, and by the Chairman of ERSAR - Entidade Reguladora dos Serviços de Águas e Resíduos (Environment and Services Regulatory Authority for Water and Waste), Orlando Borges, with discussions focused on topics of common interest in the framework of cooperation between sector regulators in Portugal and ARME in Cabo Verde.
