Review of postal network density targets and minimum offer of services and prior notice of closure of postal establishments or reduction in opening hours

On 24 April 2019, ANACOM approved the analysis and decision on the proposal submitted by CTT - Correios de Portugal (CTT) to complement the density objectives of the postal network and minimum offer of services), pursuant to Base XV of the Universal Postal Service Concession.

CTT's proposal, while partially taking into account the reference framework defined by ANACOM, is not fully in line with it. On this basis, the proposal has not been accepted and CTT is now granted a period of 30 days, under the terms of the law, to reformulate it.

The final analysis and decision on the prior disclosure by CTT to users and to ANACOM of information on the closure of postal establishments or reduction in their opening hours (post offices and postal service offices) were also approved.
