Maximum retail prices for calls to 707, 708, 808 and 809 numbers and recommendations on the use of non-geographic numbering ranges

By decision of 6 June 2019, ANACOM has approved a draft decision defining maximum retail prices for calls to the "707" and "708" (universal access services) and "808" and "809" (shared cost calls) numbering ranges.

It was decided to submit this draft decision to the prior hearing of interested parties pursuant to articles 121 and 122 of Código do Procedimento Administrativo (Administrative Proceeding Code) and to public consultation, pursuant to article 8 of Lei das Comunicações Eletrónicas (Electronic Communications Lawhttps://www.anacom.pt/render.jsp?categoryId=333114). In both cases, interested parties are granted a period of 30 working days to comment (comments in writing and in Portuguese).

On the same date, recommendations were also adopted on the use of non-geographic numbering ranges for contacts in the context of consumer legal relationships.
