A meeting took place on 14 June 2019 between the Chairman of ANACOM's Board of Directors, João Cadete de Matos, ANACOM's Director of External Affairs, José Barros, the outgoing Secretary of ARCTEL - Associação de Reguladores de Comunicações e Telecomunicações da Comunidade dos Países de Língua Portuguesa (Association of Communications and Telecommunications Regulators of the Community of Portuguese Language Countries), Filipe Baptista (representing ANACOM), and the current Secretary of ARCTEL, Francisco Chate (representing Autoridade Reguladora das Comunicações de Moçambique (ARECOM)). A number of issues were discussed related to the transfer of responsibilities for the ARCTEL Secretariat from ANACOM to ARECOM, as well as its forthcoming activities.
