ANACOM denies request for deduction of CTT records


By order of 3 July 2019 of the Vice-Chairman of the Board of Directors, ANACOM has rejected the request submitted by CTT - Correios de Portugal (CTT) for the deduction of records of priority mail and registered mail for the purpose of calculating the values of quality of service indicators in respect of 2019. The records in question were affected by the breakdown of the transport vehicle used to transport Priority Mail from CPL-S - Centro de Produção e Logística Sul (South Production and Logistics Centre) to CPL-N - Centro de Produção e Logística Norte (North Production and Logistics Centre), occurring on 23 January 2019.

On this date, a report on the prior hearing of CTT was also approved, a procedure to which the draft decision of 17 May 2019https://www.anacom.pt/render.jsp?contentId=1473234 had been submitted.

This decision was ratified by the Board of Directors on 4 July 2019.
