The 42nd meeting of the project team on Future Numbering Issues (PT FNI) of the ECC’s WG NaN was held last 4-5 June in Moscow.
The attending regulators discussed the latest information on matters concerning numbering, especially progress in drawing up the report on (sub)allocation of numbering resources, the numbering guides to be produced by the Body of European Regulators for Electronic Communications (BEREC), as envisaged in the Electronic Communications Code, and the latest e-call service developments. Regarding the BEREC document titled “Guidelines on common criteria for the assessment of the ability of undertakings other than ECN or ECS to manage numbering resources and the risk of exhaustion of numbering resources”, note that it is under public consultation until 28 August.
The next meeting is scheduled for this coming 8-9 October in Budapest.
