The Postal Directive Committee held a meeting last 3 June in Brussels, of which the following stand out:
- discussion about the future of the regulatory framework for postal services;
- current situation of the regulations for cross-border e-commerce parcel deliveries and of the European Commission studies on the postal sector;
- discussion of issues concerning the Universal Postal Union (UPU);
- discussion of matters concerning statistics;
- presentation of the statistical reports of the European Regulators Group for Postal Services (ERGP).
ANACOM, which chairs the ERGP in 2019, reported on activities carried out by this group and the priorities for 2019.
