A videoconference meeting of the BEREC expert working group on Market and Economic Analysis was held last 9 July, focusing on the projected (PRD) “Guidelines to foster the consistent application of the criteria for assessing co-investments on very high capacity network elements”.
In the meeting’s first phase, the comments resulting from presentation of the framework and scoping document at last June’s 39th BEREC plenary meeting were analysed. The framework and scope of the work proposed by the group to draw up the guidelines were validated at that meeting.
The national regulatory authorities next agreed on the division of tasks, particularly with respect to the wording of a preliminary version, discussing their pertinence and respective approach. Another working meeting was scheduled for this coming September.
