The 5th edition of ''Techdays Aveiro'' starts today on 10 October 2019, at at Aveiro’s Exhibition Park (Parque de Exposições de Aveiro), running until 12 October. The event is organized by Aveiro Municipal Council, in partnership with the Instituto de Telecomunicações (Telecommunications Institute), Universidade de Aveiro (University of Aveiro), Pólo das Tecnologias de Informação, Comunicação e Electrónica - TICE.PT (National Portuguese ICT Cluster), Inovaria - Rede de Inovação at Aveiro (Aveiro Innovation Network), Mobinov - Associação do Cluster Automóvel, Centro Habitat - Cluster Habitat Sustentável (Habitat Centre - Sustainable Habitat Cluster) and Fórum Oceano.
This edition of 2019 includes various conferences, in which relevant topics in the current panorama will be debated, namely the new governance models of smart cities, digital transformation in industry and 5G.
ANACOM's Vice-Chair, João Miguel Coelho, participates, on 11 October, in the ''5G Session''. This session will enable sharing knowledge and various visions on the current 5G panorama, both through the demonstration of development and testing already underway, and considering the necessary skills for this process of digital transformation.

ANACOM is also present as an exhibitor, with a space dedicated to publicising the radioelectric spectrum management, presenting the means at its disposal to this end, namely an accredited laboratory to meet the market's needs concerning testing and calibration of equipment.
