Approval of DTT (MUX A) network changes for clearance of the 700 MHz band - development plan and timetable

By final decision dated 4 October 2019, ANACOM approved changes to the DTT network (MUX A) in the context of the clearance of the 700 MHz band (development plan and timetable).

Approval was also given to the report of the prior hearing and public consultation, procedures to which the respective draft decision,https://www.anacom.pt/render.jsp?contentId=1480758 approved on 21 August 2019, was subject, and under which contributions from the following entities were received by the deadline: Associação Empresarial de Comunicações de Portugal (ACIST - Business Communications Association of Portugal); Associação Portuguesa para a Defesa do Consumidor (DECO - Consumer Protection Association of Portugal); DTT Blog in Portugal; Regional Government of the Azores; MEO – Serviços de Comunicações e Multimédia; NOS Comunicações; Rádio e Televisão de Portugal (RTP); Vodafone Portugal – Comunicações Pessoais.

The contribution of the Entidade Reguladora para a Comunicação Social (ERC - Media Regulator) was also received, after the deadline had passed, and was considered for purposes of internal reflection.
