Held on 13 November 2019, at Universidade da Beira Interior, in Covilhã, the 2019 edition of the Portuguese Initiative of the Internet Governance Forum, organised by the Fundação para a Ciência e Tecnologia - FCT (Foundation for Science and Technology) in partnership with ANACOM, the Associação para a Promoção e Desenvolvimento da Sociedade da Informação - APDSI (Association for the Promotion and Development of the Information Society), the AssociaçãoDNS.PT (Association), the Centro Nacional de Cibersegurança - CNC (National Cybersecurity Centre), the Agência para a Competitividade e Inovação - ACI (Agency for Competiveness and Innovation), the Polo TICE.PT (National Portuguese ICT Cluster), the Secretaria Geral da Presidência do Conselho de Ministros (General Secretariat of the Presidency of the Council of Ministers), and University of Beira Interior.
Dedicated to the theme “Reconquering trust in the Internet”, this initiative is open to the participation of civil society as a whole. Enrolments can be made, free of charge, at site of the event, where the programme with the topics that will be debated in this edition are also available.
