On 19 November 2019, ANACOM approved the extension of the deadline for sending contributions and suggestions regarding the commencement of a procedure to prepare a regulation concerning the conditions governing the suballocation of E.164 resources of the National Numbering Planhttps://www.anacom.pt/render.jsp?contentId=1493889 (NNP), by an additional 5 business days, i.e. up to 2 December 2019.
This decision, ratified on 21 November, arises from a request by NOS Comunicações, on the grounds that the “transversality of the topic, of impact on all retail and wholesale business ventures associated to voice services, and due to the complexity of resource management in a context of numerous ongoing consultations, which include, in particular, 4 consultations on BEREC guidelines and consultations on 5G implementation”.
