In January 2019, the Strategy and Studies Office (GEE), with the support of the National Communications Authority (ANACOM), launched a call for papers on ''Telecommunications and Digitization in the Economy'' (GEE/ANACOM). A call for paperson ''R&D and Innovation in the Digital Economy'' (GEE/ANI) was also launched, with the support of the National Innovation Agency (ANI).
The purpose of these invitations was to encourage studies to allow the identification of problems and the implementation of economic policy solutions in Portugal in the area of the Digital Economy.
After the process of selecting the articles and their assessment by the respective juries is concluded, the conference for the presentation of the winning articles will take place on 16 March 2020, starting at 3 p.m., at the Faculty of Economics of the University of Coimbra.
