ANACOM cooperates with UEFA in the holding of the Champions League in Lisbon

As happened in 2019 with the Nations League, an ANACOM team was on the ground (Luz Stadium and Alvalade Stadium), monitoring the spectrum to assure all communication and broadcast conditions for the 65th UEFA Champions League.

Despite the contingencies caused by COVID-19, a team of two ANACOM employees was working at the stadiums where the matches were held. They were accompanied in this task by another three members from the licensing area. The aim of this team was cooperation with UEFA in the management of the radioelectric spectrum at the event and, due to its proximity, the prevention of interference from Lisbon airport.

Due to COVID-19, the final, which was initially going to be held at Atatürk Olympic Stadium in Istanbul (Turkey), was played at Luz Stadium in Lisbon on 23 August 2020.
