The Plenary Assembly of the Euro-Mediterranean Regulators Group (EMERG) took place last 15 September. Highlights included the unanimous election of ANACOM to head the group in the year 2021. Also, the regulators from Palestine (current chair) and Israel (which will chair the group in 2022) were elected as vice-chairs. The formation of EMERG’s permanent secretariat was also chosen and the 2021 working plan confirmed. In 2013 that position was likewise held by ANACOM.
