On 11 March 2021, ANACOM approved the value of 7.1077%, for the cost of capital rate of MEO - Serviços de Comunicações e Multimédia for the financial year of 2020.
The draft decisionhttps://www.anacom.pt/render.jsp?contentId=1601920 had been notified to the European Commission (EC), to the Body of European Regulators of Electronic Communications (BEREC) and to the national regulatory authorities of all the other Member States of the European Union. On 18 February 2021, the EC issued a statement with comments that did not imply the change of this draft decision.
The final decision that has now been approved will be notified to the EC and to BEREC.
