Approval of the Draft Regulation amending Regulation no. 987-A/2020 of 5 November (Auction Regulation), which defines the procedures applicable to the 5G auction and other relevant bands

By decision of 31 May 2021, ANACOM has approved a Draft Regulation to amend Regulation no. 987-A/2020 of 5 Novemberhttps://www.anacom.pt/render.jsp?contentId=1573881, which defines the procedures applicable to the auction and the conditions to which the rights of use of frequencies allocated under this auction are subject, in the following bands: 700 MHz, 900 MHz, 1800 MHz, 2.1 GHz, 2.6 GHz and 3.6 GHz.

It was decided to submit this draft amending regulation to the regulatory consultation procedure, in accordance with article 10 of ANACOM's Statuteshttps://www.anacom.pt/render.jsp?categoryId=333094.

This draft regulation, which is already available, will be published in 2nd series of Diário da República (Official Journal). From the date of publication, interested parties are given a period of 5 working days to comment.
