This report by ANACOM presents and analyses the information contained in notifications of security breaches or loss of integrity with significant impact sent to ANACOM, in 2020, by the companies that offer public networks or publicly available electronic communications services. It also characterises the evolution of these notifications from 2015 to 2020.
The publication is divided into three chapters: introduction; security incidents in 2020 (number of reported security incidents; root cause; impact on the service); and analysis of incidents, 2020 [distribution of incidents reported, subscribers or accesses affected (levels), 112 emergency calls, islands (“isolated”), information to the public].
