ANACOM approved today, 15 December 2021, the decision on the issue of the title of the rights of use of frequencies allocated to MEO - Serviços de Comunicações e Multimédia, S.A. in the 5G auction (governed by Regulation 987-A/2020, of 5 Novemberhttps://www.anacom.pt/render.jsp?contentId=1573881).
This decision was adopted following payment of amounts due for the spectrum won in the said auction, in accordance with the Auction Regulation.
This concludes the auction and frequency allocation process for this company (except for the 900 MHz band, which will be subject to an autonomous decision). This company may now begin the commercial operation of allocated frequencies.
ANACOM has therefore concluded the issue of titles of rights of use of frequencies resulting from the 5G auction in the 700 MHz, 1800, 2.1 GHz, 2.6 GHz and 3.6 GHz bands.
